Kenny's Sit-down with Community Impact

I've been doing this hot-rod thing for over thirty years. Every now and then a newspaper or magazine will call and want to do a little story on us. I usually let the girls handle that department because they always know exactly what to say and how to say it. I just make sure the cars look good and sound even better! Last week the great folks at Community Impact reached out to us for a story. Naturally, I assumed that my wife, Cheri, and the kids would handle it because like I said, I'm in the back making fast cars. But, I was surprised when the journalist insisted on speaking with me.

A few days later I was sitting in my office across the desk from the reporter and Cheri. I had to sneak her in there so she could make me look good. I was asked questions like how the business was started and where we want to be 5 years from now and it really made me think about how far we've come. When we moved to Katy from Highway 6 and Memorial Drive, I had the intentions of slowing down a little bit. Well, God had something else in mind for me. Things have been moving at lightning speed ever since and we’re growing in every direction. One of the coolest things, though, is I have all 3 of my kids working for the business now. That’s a huge blessing for me because I love having everyone together.

The article by Community Impact is a great one and I think you guys will be really happy with what you find in there. We talk about faith, family, fast cars, and business. Also, there may be some things in there that y’all don’t know about us so be sure to give it a read.

Well I’ve got a carburetor calling my name. Talk to you next time!
