You're invited to the Grand Opening of our brand new facility in Sealy, TX! The new shop is just 15 minutes west of our current location in Katy. Bring your family and friends because there will be live music along with food from Bayou City Eats and Cupcake and a Smile, LLC. You'll even get a chance to have your photo taken in a real racecar courtesy of Forever Snapped Photo Booth Rentals! Also, the shop will be opened up so that you can walk through and see first-hand where the Bad Fast rides are made!
Our most recent restoration has left the building! This 1950 Ford is finally finished after we took the truck off of it's original frame and placed it on a brand new one from No Limit Engineering. Once the truck was on the frame, we installed the customer's '56 Cadillac motor with twin Edelbrock Performance carburetors, a 4L60E transmission, a custom Be Cool, Inc. radiator and power steering.
After some bad luck, the Stampede Mustang came to us in need of a fresh start. We ended up rewiring most of the car, installing a new airbag system, doing some cosmetic and interior changes, and getting the car running so that the owner could enjoy it. After a lot of blood and sweat, the Stampede is back where it belongs!
Is ethanol something you’d want in your classic? It makes up 10% of the fuel that goes in our vehicles nowadays. There’s some benefit to having ethanol in your fuel such as a cleaner burn and that it’s more environmentally friendly. That’s great for fuel injected vehicles made in 1977 or later, but what about carbureted vehicles?
When it comes to classic cars the first and biggest question before the build begins is whether to keep it original or do a restomod?
Nowadays a lot of the classic cars out there have been inherited by a family member and they have no idea what to do with it or where to start. We have a lot of customers that started out this way. The vehicle is sentimental and they want to keep it in the family and be able to enjoy it.
On the flip side, there's many classics that have been purchased by various people and are far removed from the original owners. These are the cars that typically turn out to be the window-shakin', engine-roarin', bad to the bone rides.
Whatever story the car has, we've brought countless classics back to life and have given them a rumble they never had!
